Terminal and port services, sea freight
The terminal in Pavlodar specializes in the transshipment of bulk grain and oilseed cargoes (including meals and oilcakes). The railway siding can accommodate up to 20 wagons and is connected to the "Pavlodar-Yuzhny" station.
The terminal is equipped with the following machinery and equipment:
Using the specified equipment and machinery, it is possible to transload any bulk cargo from road or rail transport to a warehouse or another means of transport.
Thus, there is experience in various transloading options from road freight transport to grain hoppers or covered wagons (both with and without hatches), from wagon to wagon or container, and from wagon to warehouse and vice versa.
The terminal's production capacity allows for the loading of 5-6 wagons per shift.
In addition, there is the capability and experience to provide equipment services (sheathing) and prepare covered wagons and containers for loading bulk cargo both at the terminal and in any region of Kazakhstan.
Our company provides services for packaging grain cargo into bags ranging from 25 to 50 kg. For this purpose, we have a specialized storage hopper with a mechanical dispenser capable of dosing within the range of 25 to 50 kg. We package and load approximately 150-300 tons per work shift.
We also have a conveyor belt for feeding the bags for stitching and then for loading onto wagons. This allows us to provide not only bagging services but also comprehensive services including loading onto wagons.
Grain cargo packaging services can be provided at any location in Kazakhstan. To date, we package approximately 30,000 tons of grain cargo annually through our efforts.
A MODERN INTEGRATED LOGISTICS SOLUTION FOR THE EXPORT AND IMPORT OF GRAIN CARGO, OILCAKES, MEALS, AND OTHER BULK CARGOES THROUGH A SPECIALIZED TERMINAL IN THE PORT OF SAINT PETERSBURG provides a full range of services for the organization of multimodal transportation from the railway station of departure to the port of destination, namely:
The technology for unloading cargo from wagons, both directly and via warehouse, is carried out using belt conveyors from all hatches simultaneously. This technology ensures the safety of the cargo and the wagon, guaranteeing that losses during transshipment are minimized, and the wagon is returned to the owner without cargo residues or mechanical damage.
Wagons are unloaded in any weather conditions. The unloading speed for grain hopper cars is 20-25 wagons per day, and when working with covered wagons, the unloading speed reaches up to 12 wagons per day. Wagons are cleaned by the terminal's personnel, and an act is drawn up in the presence of an independent surveyor.
All warehouses are equipped according to international standards, have ventilation and fire safety systems, and retaining walls up to 5 meters high. Cargo separation is carried out using concrete blocks. An independent surveyor is present during loading and unloading to/from the warehouse. Electronic tracking of cargo movement is maintained, and the weight of received and dispatched cargo is recorded. 24/7 video surveillance is in place.
The terminal has modern equipment, including:
The terminal is certified for the transshipment of organic cargo and actively handles organic products from leading Russian and Kazakh producers. The careful cargo handling technology using separate conveyors avoids contamination and allows for the equipment to be cleaned at any time to maintain high quality standards.
In addition to cargo transportation and transshipment, the terminal offers clients a full range of forwarding services for the export/import clearance of cargo or cargo transiting through the territory of the Russian Federation:
For the organization of multimodal logistics, significant attention is paid to the development of the shipping geography.
Currently, we charter an average of around 30 vessels annually. Destination countries include Belgium, Sweden, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, France, Poland, Finland, Spain, India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka.
Throughout the Company's operation, in addition to utilizing our own terminal in Saint Petersburg, multimodal logistics have been organized through terminals in the ports of Aktau, Poti, Novorossiysk, Kavkaz, and others.
As part of the transportation process, various port terminal services were provided, such as:
- Direct transshipment of grain from wagon to vessel using specialized conveyor equipment;
- Unloading of grain and general cargo from wagons to warehouses;
- Accumulation of grain cargo in terminal warehouses;
- Direct transshipment from wagon to container using a container tilter;
- Storage of wagons on terminal tracks.
