At the forefront of the new harvest, the issue of export logistics of Kazakhstani grain again becomes urgent. It's no secret that our exporters, in the period of high demand for Kazakhstan grain, face the problem of transportation to the main world markets.
In this connection, the Kazakhstan transport company Logsoft LLP in cooperation with the Estonian transport company OU Railtransunion, specializing in the transportation of grain cargo, offers Kazakhstan exporters the transshipment capacities of Petersburg Port Terminal LLC in the port of St. Petersburg.
The service package includes also the provision of grain wagons, the payment of railway fares to the berth of Petersburg Port Terminal LLC, loading and unloading operations with transshipment to the vessel and sea transportation.
The use of this route is beneficial when exporting grain from Kazakhstan to the countries of Northern and Western Europe, the Mediterranean countries, including Italy and North Africa.
The terminal's capacity allows the transshipment of up to 45,000 tons per month. The technology uses the most modern technologies in the transshipment of grains and protein meals. Cargo is unloaded and loaded by high-speed conveyor lines, ensuring complete safety of cargo. It should be noted that the transportation in this destination provides significant savings in complex logistics costs in comparison with traditional destinations.
